Zanimljivosti:
- Crkva gde se odvija ceremonija venčanja se nalazi u Bulderu, u Koloradu, 20 milja severozapadno od Denvera. Ona se može videti sa desne strane autopua 36 samo što se uđe u grad.
- Scene koje se navodno odigravaju na Univerzitetu u Kanzasu su zapravo snimljene na Univerzitetu Linkoln u Nebraski.
- Scena koja alaudira na poznatu scenu sa večerom Jacka Nicholsona u ĆFive Easy Pieces" (1970) je postojala u ranoj verziji filma. Iako je test publika bila oduševljena tom scenom, režiser Alexander Payne je isekao iz finalne verzije zato što to nije bilo nešto što bi Warren Schmidt uradio i odvuklo bi pažnju.
